Congratulations to the Panthers for qualifying, not only for the play-offs for the first time in our history, but also for gaining a valuable home tie versus Hunslet Hawks. This make or break fixture is to be played this Sunday, 13th September at Fylde and we are expecting another bumper crowd. Gates open at 1.00pm so make sure you come down to cheer on the boys into the final stages of the play-offs. The winners will meet either Oldham or Swinton. well what do we think of our chances...

I think this will be one step too far for the guys- too many injuries and we're down to the bare bones at the wrong time of the year, whilst Hunslet have good form of late. Loss of Johnny is huge also, whilst we will miss Nicky Royle for his pace and interceptions.

However, I wish the lads the best of luck and we have again improved this season and are moving in the right direction- a win on Sunday would be an added bonus...

Yes i think we can win this one. People keep saying we will miss leather and royle, good players i agree, especially leather but we still have enough match winners in the team.
One player aint gonna make that much difference so lets get behind the lads and we CAN make the final

It's the old cup atmosphere. One-off game I think we can take on all of the remaining teams if we get some luck, on top of our game, decisions going our way (no Dave Merrick).

And I notice the offers are out on next years season tickets already.
But only up till the day before the play off final.

Still £99 for all matches including friendlies, Northern Rail and potential Challenge Cup games sounds good. Shame my 40th birthday is a couple of days later.

Oh and a repeat of the half and half festive friendly match that we had last year with Fylde RU would be welcome. Perfect remedy for escaping family over the festive period.
