this looks very good, and balanced, plenty of competition for places especially in halfbacks and forwards, and space to add short term signings in future maybe also, could this be the squad that takes us to the championship?

Thanks for that. Been waiting for squad number list.

Nice to see a few familiar faces amongst the new signings. Not sure what's going on with the numerous halfbacks savbic will obviously be back of the queue I would hope but will be difficult to pick between Hemmingway/Forber/Ainscough- maybe the third will be on the bench.

Not sure who Paul Anderson is though...seems to have slipped my mind. Maybe squad is a bit light in the backs with Miller's injury and Mayberry being prone to injury.

Going to be a hard season though with Hunslet, Swinton & York strengthening.

Paul anderson was here 2 years ago, played loose and second row, basically gave us what we had been lacking, a true leader, he left to join backroom at rochdale, but glad to have him back, he brings a lot of aggression to the side, I see what you say with the backs, however, but there may be some youngsters put in yet, certainly if the u20s goes ahead either way cant wait for 10th january when we take on widnes.

yes it is, was announced recently and was confirmed in the rugby league express not so long back

Just go to watch Blackpool! I have counted 11 players there with links to Leigh. Wonder why we didn't keep Kurt Haggerty, thought he showed alot of promise when he played for us last season

Looks like a strong squad and we should be able to expect great things for 2010.
Can't wait for it all to restart now. Counting down the weekends.

NB From the Alder Hey feature on the club website it looks like we may have 3 more new players. The (TBC) twins, Andy and Paul, and Eddie Hemmings son Tom.

That's a heck of a squad you're getting together. You should hopefully do some damage this season
