I visit FB for the scores and news don't comment at the usuals will just swarm over anything I post. Glad they won today and it does mean that the last game of the season for us could be who wins the league its in our hands now.

The proof will be in the pudding one swallow doesn't make a summer - outright promotion was the objective for the season, which suddenly became promotion via playoffs, failure to achieve either of these should lead to a good clear out at many levels across the club. Success will also require significant investment into the playing squad we have a solid core but the Championship is another level.

Wish I hadn't gone on FB though ... criticism of people who have previously said anything against the coach ... 'where are you now' etc ...

A battle was won today (as has happened in previous seasons) ... not the war, so to speak ...

I want the Dons to be promoted especially for the long-standing supporters but sometimes I read the stuff on FB and just think ffs!

I keep away from Social Media - with the excepton of this site - as people generally seem to struggle to understand perspective. We're all Dons fans and want the team to win but it doesn't mean having a critical voice should be a hanging offence.

I thought we'd lose today. I was wrong. I wasn't meaning to be negative with my view. I was trying to judge the game objectively.

I'm delighted to have been wrong as the Dons winning matters more than me being right.

It's sad if people on FB are looking for revenge. We should all be a happy bunch of united fans tonight.

Too true.....it comes to something when mediators have to spell it out that posters have to talk about the rugby and not about other posters.
I don't see any critiques from these characters, just a dogma.
Because if you don't have an opinion apart from 'get behind the lads' then you can't be shot at.
The Dons are winning games which is great, that's what I go to see.
But they play in the 3rd tier, which can't be dismissed and they have been there ages.
If RH gets us promoted AND keeps us in a sensible position in the championship then fine, all dissent will stop.
But he hasn't thus far...and that is NOT an opinion...it's a fact!

Spot on DM. I really did think given the record so far of both sides that the Dons would lose at Oldham, it was a concern born out of the Dons points conceded column and their record of switching off or in some first half performances not switching on at all, a case of will the real Dons please stand up.

Credit to the players yesterday for that comeback, it must have been something to behold for the travelling fans, who after 46mins thought the game was up. There does see to be something extra with this current squad and its good to see.

As for peoples written thoughts and social media, its a reflection of the current state of society where its far to easy to jump on someone's thoughts and concerns in an effort to shut them up. You can call me grumpy all day long, I've had a lot worse, grumpiness IMO is usually voiced due to concern.

Agree, Wilf, the effort and togetherness of the players can't be underestimated. They dug deep when it mattered and that counts for an awful lot.

The thing I reckon we all got right about yesterday was that it'd be a high scoring game due to both sides points against column!

Moving forwards, if we meet Oldham again in the play-offs, we should have the upper hand mentally but the teams are relatively closely matched, so nothing can be taken for granted.

Hours and hours of debate, both good and bad.
Hours and hours and hours of attending games.
Stacks of time and money.
All encapsulated into...'all you hear on here is grumpiness!'
There is your modern day cancel culture ...right there.
Not an analysis....just a one liner.
An assertion that a counter view is WRONG.. and worse than wong...INADMISSIBLE!

Great win by the Dons yesterday...just in case there was a failure of communication.
The Dons are great at the moment ...can't wait to go to Hunslet.

We have spoken about it...
Let's start like a pro club vs Hunslet and put them under the pump like Dewsbury did to us in the first 10 mins.
And we will win easily....
If not...it's a lottery.
