Living in France and not far from Toulouse especially means unsurprisingly I follow French RL teams. I like Toulouse as a place and the TOXIII are a well run club. I recall travelling to The Keepmoat about five years ago to watch Donny at home to Toulouse. Since then both clubs have followed very different paths to get where they are today.The weird thing is that a new chairman came in and spent some money which has seen TO win promotion to SL. Donny have gone backwards in the same time despite a great attempt this season to gain promotion. What’s weird is that the Toulouse owner ,Mr Sarrazain who owns a transport company isn’t a particularly rich man when compared to the Donny owners so why the apparent lack of serious investment to get the club into the Championship then on to SL ?
As an outsider I find it frustrating for Doncaster RLFC that their owners aren’t committing themselves further with more serious investment, or is this against RFL rules ?
