Devils Repel Vikings to go Fourth Salford Red Devils and Widnes Vikings met at the City of Salford Stadium in tonights Thursday night fixture, with both eyeing fourth spot in Super League. Camera shy Salford had not won in front of the SKY cameras for two years, however, the last side that they beat in a televised Super League game was today's opposition. Hartlepool RUFC would have beat Widnes this evening, playing the game of RL......Widnes were woeful.

I thought that Salford certainly got the "bounce of the ball" for two tries as well as a couple of forward passes for two more. Apart from that, without Brown in the middle we were poor. A couple or more Referee decisions also went against us.
