He does look the real deal but he’s been up against poor opposition, if you can’t shine in those games when can you? I think the halves will be Welsby and Williams from now on, with Sneyd maybe getting a bench place.

At his best he was excellent for us and was key to two of the greatest days in the club's history but we have moved on and so has he. I'm not convinced we would have been much better with him last season.

I'm keen to see how the new half backs perform next year.

Sneyd hasn’t been with us for a season now. Yes he’s done ok so far in the games he’s played in the WC bit let’s be honest he’s not exactly been tested by the opposition has he?
On his day he was a key player for us and a big part of the cup wins but also a part of the continued failure to finish of a season on form.
He moved on a year ago and we’ve moved on with what looks on paper to be a very dynamic halfback k pairing.
