State Of The Club : Sun Apr 05, 2009 6:28 pm
The club is a sham we need wholesale changes from top to bottom

Firstly Uncle kath needs to put a realistic figure on her shares to try and enable someone who has a love of the club to come in and buy her out

James Rule needs to recongise the fact cheap doesn't work and that we need a world class coach with fresh ideas that will introduce an attacking brand of rugby that is enjoyable to watch

ATEOTD we spend our hand earned cash week in week out year after year following the club and the fact we have a grade A license whilst great to have it, we want results on the pitch aswell with true quality international players out there not average like we have at the momment

A coach that can pick the right side, with the right bench that will make the right interchanges at the right times

that will spend all week with the players and give them a game plan other than 5 drives and a kick ffs, that will throw the ball about create gaps put players through gaps and can instill a will to win in the team

The players where has the spirit gone from the 1st few matches, if you have a grievance tough poop you get well paid for the job you and are in a lucky position one we would all love to be in

You should go on that pitch to give your all for yourself, your teamates and the fans how many of you can say your doing that at the momment

Motto of the week -

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

hull fc are in a good position, thats the problem, the club needs to be on its knees again, worthless in fact, bankrupt dare i say it, to get rid of that lot.

all the time its gettin support from the terraces from crowds, merchandising & sponsorship, that lot will hike up its value.

Agree with most of that, but if it suits Kath to keep her shareholding she holds all the cards. We need someone with more money than sense to buy her out.

Plus, as I've said we could get a top drawer coach for what we pay Agar and Sharp combined but we choose not to. It's not a case of being cheap, just choosing to invest the same amount of money in the wrong place.

I have been missing a while now and looking at things from a very different position.

I have seen FC twice and to be honest its like watching them last year, same old rubbish on offer.

Too many have been fooled, hoodwinked into believing that this years team is any better then last years, its not its worse. The pack is getting bitched nearly every week and Thorman will get the blame as no scrum half can play behind a beaten pack every week. The team selection is at times baffling, Moa is being played week in week out when anyone with half a brain can see he is not upto it yet or is he Hutch MARK2 .

I do not believe for one minute that team selection is down to the coaches, a phone call from the Leeds area to Agars office would appear to be the norm. The coaching staff can and will deny it, but if that is the case then they we really are in trouble. I got bored earleir then most with the 5 drives and a kick rugby we play, ok we may win some, but it is bloody aweful to watch. The days of Bombers flowing exciting rugby seems a long way in the past now, sure we got beat and did not acheive a lot finals wise. It was entertaining and the atmosphere better then now.

Agar is not going last beyond next week, losses against KR and the usual Saints beating will finish him off. There has to be some one to take the blame and also take the flak away from the board, Mr Agar is set up nicely for the fall guy this time. John Kear was the first one and then Peter Sharp and we all fell in line behind those decisions.

The board will put in Sharpy (as they always planned to) and then potter on until the end of season, with loads of excuses for this year . This board has been tight where it matters and we have been lacking a quality half back since Smithy left and they have only paid lip service to signing one. They could and should have gone all out to get one , but they counted the cash instead.

Somehow I think this board has now run its course, but getting rid of them could prove to be a very poisoned chalice.

Carefull what you wish for ......................... you may well get it.
