Players from the nrl have already signed.

Some Australian players have retired rather than take a sl contract.

No brl first team coach will leave for a sl club.

Makes me laugh when people rubbish the idea of Noble, like we're in any position close to what Wigan were in when he left.
People seem to think we can appoint NRL assistants with less than 2 or 3 years experience and we'll suddenly become top 4. Dream on, there's a massive amount of work to do before we're in that position. Noble wouldn't be bad for us, not at all.

Completely agree, even if he did 'only' get us to 1 game away from the Grand Final like he did with Wigan (twice) we'd still be in a far better position.

I also think he would be far less of a risk, not every assistant makes a good manager. Peter Sharp being a prime example, highly respected as a coach but his recruitment and squad building left a lot to be desired.

he'd be a disaster for anyone under 23, in my opinion.

No ones saying we could rival Wigan next year, but we could bring in a coach with e experience bringing on youngsters.

That would be a good start.

and we don't know who is coaching the goons next season either.
