From what I'd heard Ligi is desperate to stay and sign a new deal and that is his preferred option but as yet hasn't been given a deal to sign. He may well have received offers from elsewhere but preferring to wait for Hull I don't know.

Just someone I know that has fair bit of contact within the club and tbf when we talk rugby most of what they say tends to be right.

maybe he has signed somewhere else and thats why the club are keeping it quiet
whatever the situation the silence makes the club look like amateurs when it comes to PR

Or, maybe, because so many people are waiting with baited breath (well half a dozen on this forum) they are saving it as a big announcement ahead of season passes being put on sale.
I believe he has signed and him plus one more will be announced soon. The one more being subject to completion of paperwork.

Griffin had re-signed way back in Jan i think and was only recently announce .
