It's got to a point, where, I just cant respond as have no idea what he is talking about or what his point us, I hope he is drunk, would make more sense.
The other post about Harry Kane and Pointless was just as bizarre
Got to the point jake Connor isn't the best full back in Super League anymore........
How's your hookem doing? you know the "superstar youngster" who you banged on about for ages
'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.
Premiership football is a million times bigger than nrl fact
We know this. Even people living in Burundi with no real interest in any sport know this. Although it’s more like 10 to 15 times bigger by revenue, based on some very rudimentary internet research… which is less than I’d have guessed.
The NRL is still some distance behind Korean baseball though, which I also wouldn’t have guessed. I suppose the AFL is dominant outside Eastern Australia and has revenue almost twice that of the NRL.
SL revenues are approx. 10-12% of the NRL’s. Just slightly lower than the third division for Association Football in Japan.
Is your point that we should recognise and accept the disparity, and just enjoy what we have? Not put too much weight on an Ashes series that’ll likely be a dispiriting whitewash? I’m pretty much on board with that. Or is it something else?

What does Got to the point mean?
Connor isn't the best FB, neither said he was, but he was an excellent player for us, at fullback or wherever he played, was massive for us the two seasons before he left, could have gone down in 2022 without him.
Laughing because a young player who has highly rated didn't make it, says more about you than me, he was outstanding at junior level, I wanted him to be given a chance, so far he hasn't made the step up and might never do, won't be last, but that won't stop me talking young players up and asking for them to be given a chance, some will make it some wont. I'd love to see Martin, Staverley and Balmforth all playing in the 17 regularly next season.
Not forgetting Liverpool taking 90,000 fans to Australia.
Was at that match in Melbourne which was one memorable experience. Several thousand Liverpool fans were "taken'' but the vast majority like me were there for the opportunity to watch Liverpool and bellow out their team song! There was also a sizable Asian contingent of Liverpool fans who flew in for the match.
Attendance records and TV viewing figure records were smashed when the Aus Women's soccer team went on a run to the semi finals during the recent World Cup competition showing Aussies will attend good football when it is on display here.
The meltdown from the Rovers fans is great, can't believe Wane has dropped Lewis for Williams, can't think of a reasom why, except Williams is the captain, was our best player in the world cup amd 5 times better than Lewis.

Don’t usually disagree with your posts Dave, but on this occasion I would say Lewis is incredibly unlucky to lose his place in the team, looked the most threat with ball in hand, and seemed to frighten the life out of the opposition, they couldn’t handle him.
The recall of George probably sums up the failings of Wane as a coach, in a series already won, he stifles the emergence of a young player playing well, with the opportunity to look at him in more detail without the worry of losing the series, unbelievable parochial decision in my humble opinion.

I see your point, whilst Lewis was great in the first game he was poor in the 2nd, the aim has to be to win the 3rd test and build for bigging games, so building partnerships is key, Lewis while a good SL player and a good runner is limited and a poor defender and isn't good enough to play against Aus or NZ.
Even Wane said in his pre match interview before the 2nd test that Lewis wasn’t mom in 1st test and told him what he needed to do more.Lewis is bigged up by the pundits and commentators on both sky and bbc.He is a good SL player and no more.I wouldn’t be surprised to see Williams and Welsby in the half’s going forward after this series.
