Just think they are poorly run. They should've stuck with Long and Pryce for this season. brought Ford in above Long and undermined him. Long ends up getting sacked and Ford takes over.
Not to mention that lunatic Campbell attacking someone with a hammer. They're a circus
Excellent post and something Ive thought all season. I loved travels to Post Office Road in the day and had some great times in the club house with some brilliant fans but lately they are a club that are constantly courting bad news. The appalling way they approached that cup game with us which was just thuggery, Breaking covid rules with a party for players featuring their Board members when everyone else was locked up at home, Racists comments and bad behaviour on the terraces, treating their staff (Coaching staff) in a questionable way and their chairman in big trouble with the law eclipses the fact that they have made real strides forward off the field and improved their Stadium amazingly. I feel for their real true fans, but well done to London they are really motoring at present and a real story of struggling to rise over adversity. However in a no relegation setting in future years when clubs have time to build into the league, Toulouse would be a great addition. I bet Longy had a wry smile on his face tonight.
Have to say I agree that it would appear that Fev are very much mis managed at the top. The decision to sack Long would seem to have backfired and had a negative affect on the team at such a late & pivotal time in their season.
Think they've once again blown their best chance in years to gain promotion and a chance that is unlikely to come again for many years.
As for London or Toulouse back in SL, for me purely on a marketing aspect for the game as a whole I'd say London would be the preferred option for me. I know many will read that and think I'm nuts but if the RFL & IMG pull their fingers out they could really maximise the benefit of a team in the South within striking distance of the capital city.
Of course for London as a club they would have to improve, grow and invest in infrastructure and have a proper plan for the future, maybe with time they could achieve success in being a competitive side in SL.
Toulouse are the club that have the best chance a making good fist of being competitive relatively quickly are a settled established club and seem to be well run. However there doesn't seem to be much hunger in the media or wider field outside of the RL world for French clubs in SL. If Toulouse are successful in gaining promotion it will help the game in France and generate more publicity but not sure if Toulouse in SL will benefit the sport off the field greatly.
