| Quote Dr Hfuhruhurr="Dr Hfuhruhurr"Cusack has done exactly what he was brought in to do, he takes the ball up consistently and makes hard metres down the middle. If others around him were looking after their own responsibilities Cusack would get the appreciation he deserves. The forwards that come on, do one big hit up before going missing for 20 minutes don’t impress me, Cusack is by far the best prop at the club.'"
This is Cusack's biggest problem. He was bought as a workhorse, a grafter. The fact is, we have too many of that type of player, but I reckon he's about the best we've got. If he was playing in a good pack with three impact props, he'd be seen as invaluable by the same people who slag him off now. His workrate would allow the impact players to be used in shorter spells and his contribution would be there for all to see.
Because he's a similar type of player to the deadwood we have (albeit a far better exponent of that style of play), he tends to get (unfairly) lumped in with them.

Way, way off the mark. He didn't nearly single-handedly do anything. He was an important part of a good team. Without that team (as he has shown at Rovers) he wouldn't be half the player.

Can play both.
Have only seen him play centre but most people seem to think he is better at LF.

apologies but with long coming in i think washbrook has to play LF and horne needs to play stand off.
don't see why with long coming in we would need cooke

play the highlights of that season and watch how manty tries were scored through his passes and kicks!!! a staggering amount i'll tell you....
coooke played in yeaman and raynor, briscoe countless times, maybe cooke was the foil for hornes breaks...watch them also...alot of horne breaks etc..

| If cusack was non quota i wouldnt be against his new contract (if we got rid of Dowes) but im my opinion hes a good player but we could use the quata spot better with a impact prop, full back or a centre IMO.
