Lane is the one who needs to hit the ground running next season , With a fully fit first 17 in 2024 , he probably wont be anywhere near the squad . Plus there's the young kids hoping to overtake him in the pecking order .

I like Cator- has there been any better players available in the loose forward position?

Lane has more potential to improve than Cator, we have seen Lane make breaks, score trys and set trys up, he even did this last season.

Can anyone remember a time Cator did any of these things?

Cator doesn’t do anything at loose man Fash doesn’t do. Could of signed another prop and played Fash at 13.

Fash offers more IMO.

I'd like to see Staverley get a go there in pre season, use to play halfback so has good hands.

Think we will see Fash more at 13 next season given the props we've signed.

Not a rumour, but I’d take Gaz Widdop on a 1 year deal to add some extra experience and depth.
