I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

New regime reeks of cheapness so far, not good.

Hi Andy

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

If we really had to make a stopgap signing like this, and I don't believe we did, then Senior was the obvious option.

I agree but that's only reason can see this signing suddenly on the announcement of Radford retiring and another forward short

Maybe they a feel a forward is more of a concern with radders , lauaki , dowes and fitzgibbon all leaving ? Not my opinion but maybe how they see it and will look to bring a forward in and see Martin as the best option without using a quota spot, Just a thought

Martin surely can't have been the answer. Even if they are prioritising the pack, Tony Martin will not offer anything new IMO.

I just don't get this signing whatsoever. I am expecting a big forward signing now, I suspect Martin will have come pretty cheap.

I hope this signing indicates that Turner will be given the number 3 shirt next year, with Martin being signed as backup should things not work out, or if an 'old head' is needed on that flank (particularly in defense).

The back end of this season Turner looked good, scored and set up a few trys. His build is perfectly suited to the centre spot, and maybe a full off season training in that position will do him the world of good.

Martin will be able to pass on a few things to him, particularly positioning in defense (which I think is his main weakness).

People need to realise it's only a 1 year deal, meaning the club are waiting to see if Turner matures, or waiting for a top class centre to become available. He's a stop gap (just like Phelps was) which will provide much needed backup should either centre get injured.

Why would it ever mean that Turner would have the 3 shirt? We sign a new centre to play them.

What the hell is our club playing at here????
Even if a 'stop - gap' it's a smack in the eye for both Whiting and Turner.
How must they feel I wonder?

I agree Tom 100% that surely a forward now and a good one at that has to be signed . I meant they probably felt they had to get a centre no matter what but how they ended up with him who knows ?
