The guy is a winning and hopfully this will rub off on some of the other players.

I would be shocked if he wasnt captain next season.

We need more winners around the side, Longy fits the bill.

People only become accountants because they lack the charisma to become undertakers.

If Sean Long was Australian everyone would be raving about signing such an experienced player with his ability

Good signing and if we back it up with a couple mroe signings next season should be very interesting :D

Sean Long is what we have been missing since Smith - someone who gets in the face of the opposition, constantly talks to the ref, makes on the spur-of-the-moment inspirational decisions, never knows when to give in, gets his team around the park and allows the other players around him get on with their own job, etc. So, yes, I am as excited as I was about Berro and, although Byrne and Cusack were never going to be world beaters, they played in one of the best ever teams in the NRL and just getting into that team was no mean feat - so they were going to bring lots of experience and confidence. Now imagine a team with Horne at 6, Long at 7, Berro at 9 and you've got a strong spine there. Add Whiting or Washbrook at 13 and Tony (or strong replacement) at 1 and the spine should be tingling. If Agar is allowed to play people who have vision and play with passion for the shirt in those positions, he will have a team that can challenge for honours. I think the rest of the pack are strong as are the backs - remember we have Hall and Briscoe chomping at the bit to get back in.

A team without Radders, Thorman and boring 1 man rugby sounds just as good.
