the part of illegal people dont understand is the part about our government actively encouraging smoking for years, getting people hooked, making poop loads of money off them, then suddenly telling them they cant do it anymore and making them social leppers! BTW i stopped smoking a year ago.

so there isn't millions of people of an older age (p.c) who got hooked on smoking years ago who are now being told they cant go into certain places they always used to? anyway just my opinion but turning a blind eye to people having a shady fag in the toilet cant do any harm can it? ( george michael may not agree)

was at hull kr for are freindly game last week and there was a guy there completly off his head smoking and drinking in the stand , the steward was more interested in the drink than his smoking which i found amazing, because he wouldn't take the drink inside he took it off him and left him blowing cigerette smoke all around him....and before anyone says i should of moved i did..

saw a couple of people picked up by stewards for smoking in the east stand toilets at half time.

the stewards came in the one middle of east stand, had a look, you could clearly ssee smokecoming over tops of cubicles and they walked straight out, getting heckled by all the other people in there for doing a sterling job

I have spoken to John Cooper about this when it came into being last year and he said if anyone was caught smoking in the stadium the stewards would ask them to put it out. If they were caught again then they would be thrown out.

As for the toilets he said stewards were going in at regular intervals to ensure no one was smoking in there, but its very difficult to do anything when people lock themselves into a cubicle and smoke.

It was becoming a joke in the ladies last year, everytime you opened the door a big plume of smoke came out.

Lets face it wether the club like it or not if they dont provide a smoking area people will continue to grab a few quick sneaky drags when they can.

At Old Trafford police turned a blind eye to it so long as it was done at the top of the stairs. Millenium Stadium opened up the outside areas.

I thought if you got caught you'd get thrown out. Now I know they'll just tell you to put it out i'll maybe just get as many drags in as I can before I get caught.
