Not really, Tansey will play fullback for sure but Berro would still play in the centres and Wasy could cover the hooking role with Houghton or the new halfback might be able to play 9 too?
I also heard a few weeks back that Agar was looking to play Whiting at 13 for next season, if thats the case then Fitz can move to the backrow and Manu to the bench and Lauaki to prop.
I think we have enough options tbh, but a prop and a halfback are the correct priorities. |

Rovelli doesn't seem to be rated by fans in Aus and at 27 isn't really a young understudy. Shouldn't we be looking for a 21-22 yr old who wants some 1st grade experience and who woud be hear to learn?

27 gives 5 or 6 seasons left. Thats a decent length of time left in a career to give. Didnt he only win the young player award 2 years ago? Is he really 27? |

We are and should be a TOP 4 side now, not struggling to make the 8.

All players mature at different rates. There are loads of back and forwards that was better in their careers closer to 20, and plenty that get better closer to 30 too. The big advantage of signing them younger is the fact they should be more resistant to injuries, have a quicker recovery time, and have faster reactions. This and the obvious fact that a younger player has more potential to improve than an older player. |
