Yeah, bl00dy facts getting in the way of stuff.

Abdull or Washy do not, and can not, provide the same (or anywhere near the same) that Frank provides the side. Particularly as Frank is often thrown in when Ellis, Watts & Taylor are having a breather.

Thompson just isn't that good unfortunately, Hadley is a different sort of player, the other three are very young. If Frank were to leave, we'd still need one more IMO.

Sometimes as fans we're more impressed with the spectacular, and guilty of not quite noticing the hard work a player gets through. Not to mention the massive expectation heaped on Frank, along with him playing differently to how he did in the NRL.

His stats don't tell the full story, but they do tell part of a story. When he's on, he sticks his hand up, he grafts and he's more than effective:
- He made more carries than Ellis or Mini last year, in much less game time. His average carry is better than any other backrower we have, second in the forwards only to Taylor. He made 11 clean breaks, second in the forwards only to Mini (15) in much less game time. 20 offloads, again more than any other back rower we have. He made more tackle busts than Ellis , but behind Mini & Manu.

What you expect from him, and what Radford is asking him to do are two completely different things, and the latter is what he's fulfilling to a pretty high standard.

I dont think Pritchard will impress when used as a prop.Yes the stats may show he makes metres but we wont see the best of Frank until he is moved out to his best position playing wide left and having a centre with him who can take advantage of his breaks and offloads.
You dont see Ben Currie taking the ball up the middle as a prop.He is used correctly using his pace and strength wide out.
The problem Radford has is having Minichello and Manu who both play big minutes but in my opinion are not rotated correctly.
Given a full fit squad I would still have Pritchard and Ellis coming off the bench for these two,and let Frank take the left edge of Minichello.
That way we wont see Mini and Manu out on their feet towards the end of the games and should see Pritchard breaking the line a lot more often.

People can ignore stats all they like but this is pretty conclusive stuff
Them stats missing would leave a massive hole that would need replacing massively
Lose a mini or Ellis after 'releasing ' pritchard would leave us well down on firepowet
I don't get it me! I'm frustrated we don't get the best of frank but I appreciate he's being asked to perform a particular role for us to also accommodate Mini
Next year for me as mentioned by bonaire I'd keep it simple. Spell mini frank n manu among themselves. Keep them real fresh. Especially mini. Love mini but he's got sn error and a pen in him and I'm sure many are due to doing to long minutes trying to play at the pace he does

Pritchard should be coming back in good shape. If you are on Instagram look at f45_training_cecilhills

Keeping fit with Krisnan Inu

Good deal for both parties if true, needs more game time. Although would make Hudgell a big fat liar, obviously. How naughty.

I presume that he's getting a new deal at Hull then?
Otherwise the Dobbins could just sign him permanently.

Desperate more like, they've only got 17 players! All fit for the championship.

To be fair to Hudgell I don't suppose he saw relegation in the foreseeable future he talked about
