If it isn't Clune, then I can only imagine it would be Flanagan or Wakeham. Outside chance of the Souths halfback - Hawkins

just hope its clune.wakeham is poor and flanagan or failagan as the bulldogs fans call him isnt much better.bulldogs fans really happy they have signed toby sexton to replace flanagan.

Just because the Bulldogs don't rate he and he isn't doing great in the NRL, that doesn't mean he wouldn't do well in SL.

I believe Croft was heavily targeted for criticism in the NRL too - he has gone OK over here. I see enough in Flanagan's game to see that he would go well over here. Controlling half, never stops trying even when things are not working

its true you never know how a player will do over here,but ive seen every game flanagan has played over there and hes average at best.

Not sure any NRL club would be willing to pay a transfer fee and in any case the player/players agent would refuse to have a such a clause included in the contract.

Basically if a player wants out he's gone and I can see this becoming the norm in future.

As far as the NRL are concerned SL is a development competition.
