We played very well against you. Our problem is that we can't do it with any consistency whatsoever. Wigan away was unusual in that we played pretty well for 70 minutes. More often we struggle to put in the required level and intensity over more than 20 minutes. In fact we struggle to alternate 2 good offensive and 2 good defensive sets in a row. Individual errors with or without the ball are commonplace and have cost us a fortune in terms of points this season. Agar always identifies the correct failings post game - it's just that he seems unable to rectify them.

wigan have been rubbish at home though and got hammered there last week against cats. Simlilarly, people were lauding the bradford win and then they go and get hammered at salford. I think we've played some poor teams this season and not won when we should or not posted enough points or conceded too many

Didn't hear the game last night but another defeat against a team with only one home win in a year shows where we are.

I find it difficult to see us winning any of the next three which would leave us 3-0-10 and three wins in sixteen games. Can't see how the board can possibly stick by him with that record.

With Wigan and possibly Leeds soon looking for a new coach we need to take action as soon as possible.

I think Ian P said elsewhere today that it's almost become a battle of wills between the fans and the board now. Who blinks first?

maybe one you lot could give credit to Catalans who were under great pressure to perform well at home ?
the best team won and should have scored more points

Not being funny but this a thread dedicated to Agar and all his failings. Is it any surprise that it is predominately about the negative aspects of Hull FC and not the positive aspects of other teams?
The match thread from Saturday might be a better place to look if you're searching for praise of your team.

not my team mate - just there as a neutral

sat very close to Agar in the stand who kept banging the desk in disgust coming out with things like 'why don't they do as I ask them ?' etc etc sounds a frustrated man...

just to keep you happy tho' by sticking with the thread, the Hull directors etc were not amused and the mood was definitely downbeat - the team was poor and the derby could be yer mans last game in charge...

When Agar was first signed I ,like many others was underwhelmed, but I thought, give the guy a chance. He has had that chance and blown it.I have nothing against him as a person, but he is I am afraid,a cheap option.
Grimsby Town (yes,I know  ) have done this down the years ,and look where they are now.If the board don`t act soon, they are going to lose more fans, some who will realise there are other things in life, and won`t return.

To be fare to Grimsby what little I know of them they really struggled after ITV deal went tits up. Since then they have tried punching above their weight but struggled.
Hull FC on the other hand have gone from strength to strength off the pitch but on it 3 cup finals seemed to buy the board time but that was 3 years ago and will probably be 30 years before we do that again at current rates.

Its not as if injuries can be used as an excuse so far this year.

Thank you for that. How extremely illuminating. Confirms most's beliefs that Agar can't motivate/convince them to execute what he wants.

Most on here can't comment on Cats' performance, 'cos most weren't there but Hull's performances this year lead us to conclude that it was more of the same from us. I'm certain Catalans were rightful winners after outplaying us in every department. That's the problem, sadly for us. Thanks for your info, though.
