Don't be prickly

Locally based fans should be there, don't you agree?

Good job we don't play midweek games anymore.

I'm not being prickly, I just find it amusing that whenever a poster says they won't be attending a game, there's always someone ready to point out how they attended two days after they'd been shot in the face, or whatever.

I would never say that anyone should attend a game. There are all sorts of reasons that it might not be possible or convenient for someone to go.

What's the point taking a 4 year old anyway. Surely they're not interested in sitting still for 2 hours?

Our son quite enjoys it. He can get a bit restless at times, but it's worth getting him indoctrinated nice and early, I reckon.

I agree. I took my three year old to his first game last season when he was barely three. He's now been three times and asks questions about whats going on and loves to listen to me telling him whats happening. Doesnt like me shouting though.

Not where I live it's not!

But in Hull & East Riding it is, so that covers 99% of all fans at the game

Just getting off the car park can take 10-15 minutes, then I would have to travel back to South Yorkshire. We wouldn't get my son in bed till at least 9, which is too late for a not-quite-five-year-old who has to be at school the next day.

Now this is a little different to your first input into this. I would agree it's a bit late for fans with 5 year old kids that live in south Yorkshire who may have school tomorrow.

But would you agree that the vast majority who may attend will not be in that situation

There is no wonder they had to scrap the Floodlit trophy and the County cups

I would now I know that half term is a week later in Hull. I still reckon that it could have been a bit late for some fans based in Hull and the East Riding with younger children had that not been the case.
