Unfortunately, injury will prevent departing star Liam Sutcliffe from making a final appearance for his home town club before his move to Hull FC next season.


Is there anything more Hull fc. Pretty robust player, signs for us and gets injured. Hopefully Dwyer makes it through and Sutcliffe only has a niggle.

With regards media and HDM, I don't like the appointment of fans for the position, offers far too much bias, you can see that it in current HDM reporters. I know that Clarke was a Hull fan, but not to the level of Tomlinson.

I agree. The HDM sports section has become like a fanzine. Not that the general standard of journalism for them is particularly high anyway.

Traditional journalism as we oldheads remember has almost gone… or evolved into something new, if we want to mitigate the sense of loss. Like rock music.

The immediacy and constant hum of modern media has created a sort of information addiction, hasn’t it?

Random ex-player backs Trueman to succeed. Jordan Lane’s new outlook for 2023. Stanley Gene keen to make a difference. Willie Peters focused on pre-season preparations. We need these meaningless, disposable tidbits and we need them now.
