Wish I hadn’t bothered going today but thought we might actually put a performance in at home today. How wrong was I it’s pitiful and I’m sorry but Smith may be an experienced Coach but frankly he is seemingly just not up to the job.
I appreciate we are lacking quality in terms of players but that doesn’t excuse the product that we are seeing out there.
We can’t even get the fundamental basics right, we look beat before the ball is kicked. Our line speed in defence and attack is so slow, I’ve seen sloths move faster off a line. The pots is again pathetic, we have forwards but don’t use them to gain yardage instead give it to the smaller backs, then on the 5th we have forwards being given the ball. All that’s before we get on to a total lack of discipline that we hear they are always working on!! Really???? Think that’s total boll0x bit like the supposed training and coaching done in the week.
That for me is enough to show Smith and Gene are just not doing a job at all. We look totally clueless and Okunbor being pulled just sums up a totally embarrassing mess out there.
No doubt Carlos will be out for another lengthy period of time along with at least 2 games for Pele come Monday afternoon.
Ligi for all the hard work he puts in has to be one of the dumbest out there.
We need a head coach that can lay down discipline not a Laid Back Larry with a stooge who does what exactly.
