He's played over 300 NRL games and 33 times for the kiwis, like Pritchard in 2016 or Kearney in 2005, someone like that would be perfect for us...we've no experienced head for the young players to learn off, JWH could provide that...and no doubt will for rovers young forwards

I’m well aware of his past but it’s his abilities next season that matter here.

Sign him in 2030 and your argument would still apply.

He’s a penalty machine and, as I said, it will be interesting to see how much he plays this season?

We are now 15/1 with 22.5 points start - I like both of them

One pound on each for me

That just shows how inexperienced our side will be on Friday.

Plus he’ll be another year older by the time he joins them.

Let’s see how many games he plays this season?

Very definition of a player coming to the end of his career looking for one last pay day.
He knows he can come here, give someone a slap around the chops and get a few weeks holiday on full pay. He can then spend his time exploring Europe.

Looking like Ockunbor is the new scapegoat.
Don't get it especially after just 2 games and especially when he is still fairly new to the second row.
Thought he went quite well in both games personally and looked strong in his carries. Just needs to be used right and think he could go really well.

Okunbor was steady for me and certainly shouldn't be singled out for any criticism, he was one of our better players last week (or less worse players anyway). He'll improve the more he gets used to super league and his surroundings.

Missed that tackle on Lewis and gave away a penalty, but overall thought he did Ok, tackled well (a couple of excellent tackles at the marker and a try saver), ran hard too, think he will come good long term if he can get some good ball. Not our biggest worry for sure.

Okunbor wasn't brilliant (although nobody could've been brilliant in last week's team) but he wasn't awful either, if he was part of Club Hull he'd have gone under the radar, but being a quota player he'll be under more scrutiny from the fans

It was a dire performance all-round last week , I really cant see why anyone would single one player out from that carnage .
