To be fair, he spent most of his first full season making up for Ben Crooks' deficiencies. Maybe trusting his centre doesn't come easy now.

Tom Lineham is an outstanding young player. He's still learning the game.

Please don't think he's the finished article. He has a few things to work on and that is why he's so highly rated by his peers, because he has so few things that he has to work on for a young player.
Granted his line defence and positional defence are 2 areas he has to work on, but he's not going to fix it overnight. He has to work on it and he'll get it right with time.

Lineham is a force for us and a player our opposition fear.

Radford knows very well his deficiencies and will get him right. Not only that, did you see the bollocking he got from Pryce after his Mantellano miss ? I tell you, a bollocking like that on the pitch from a champion SL player will speed up the learning process.
Just stay with him people and back him. He's ours, lets enjoy him and support him.

You had a complete mismatch on the other wing and went there all match. If Lineham had seen much of the ball there would have been a thread about how rubbish either Houghton, Sneyd or noth were for not targetting the big man on little man on the other side.

There isn;t a winger in the comp who doesn't get sucked in once in a while and hit with the cut out.

True, it can be a fine line between hero and villain for a winger

He looked to be going for the interception but it was very tight anyway, so perhaps he shouldn't have, but hey, happens and we won anyway.

Disagree on the latter point, I thought it was a pass thrown too wildly without looking properly. A lovely pass goes to the man, not where you're guessing the man might be.

Too true, but it wasn't a cut out pass. Sa had Welham covered, Lineham just didn't slide out.

Just watched the game tonight...
I think he had a quiet game - not a bad one...
The first pass from Ranking was in front of him (Rankin seemed to excel at bad passes on Saturday - but was still all over the place in attack and deserved to bit in the team)
The defensive "error" was a 50/50 decision he got wrong - 1/2 the time all other wingers in SL would also get it wrong - it happens.
Other then that he was very quiet - as the attack was all on the other side.
