The scrum penalty for not packing down was schoolboy stuff.
We must have created a SL record for least metres gained in a match and completion rate was shocking.

2016 & 2017 apart we played some awful rugby and went on significant losing runs. So the 2 Wembley wins apart the club massively underachieved considering the money spent.

It’s the same old statement thrown out that we had two Wembley wins and nearly got to OT but it was nearly and we didn’t get to OT did we. The Wembley wins whilst great just glossed over the poor performances in the league culminating in some of the most pitiful displays by a team wearing black & white and record losing runs.

Today was never going to easy but we practically gave St’s the game without them having to break a sweat due to the same old issues that we have seen for far too long.

As I said before the game as long as the effort was there and the players gave it their all I’d be happy but sadly yet again we fail to get even the basics right turn out another poor performance with attitude and desire once again missing

Being a realist, although mocked at, I said it could easily be another 20 years, if we're lucky, before we ever lay our hands on any silverware again.
We'll be a quarter of the way there after blanking out again this season.

I agree he needs to get criticised but no one criticises Griffin for several handling errors and a brain fart kick on attacking in their 20

Anyone watching re runs of our Wembley wins just see how disciplined we were on the day.
Have to say under this coach our discipline is getting worse .

If we had another centre and a full compliment of forwards he wouldnt be in my team but used off the bench.
He makes a few metres at centre but other than that his poor defence,lack of pace and a poor passing game he is not a wingmans centre.
I know a lot of Hull fans thing he is great but there are many who dont.
My point was Dave K was quite rightly criticising Shaul for his errors today but Griffin also made several without any criticism

There was a point in the first half where Gale picked up the ball in their 20 following a penalty,tapped and turned to pass but had to go to ground because all our players where 10 meters back in a big bunch

From their try from the scrum in 1st half Shaul didn't need to be in the scrum, but he went in at 13 and left us short in the defensive line and it was a very easy try

so playing saints with 7 front liners missing 1 sent off, yes we didnt play well but its early days, thought gale derserved to go stupid, but lets brush ourselves down hopefully no injuries, Salford next big game, we need to get a few back, week after Cas and we should get Sav and Evans back,
