Cooke didn't sign the contract. Carvell didn't want to play for us anymore, so we happily got 50k from it. Reardon didn't pass a fitness test.

I know what you mean, but they are all different situations

Without digressing too much. Carvell signed then his missus changed his mind. What did the club do wrong there.?

Reardon signed subject to medical, which he failed. The problem with that signing was that we shouted about it from the rooftops before the medical was complete.

Judas.......least said the better, though I will remind you that he was still accepting his pay and he has been found guilty of breaches, not us.

Has that Dobbin got on your account again? That's one of the biggest loads of tripe I've seen in a while.

Cooke's contract was messed up. Carvell signed a contract, then decided to leave. At least we got a fee instead of him going for free as, wait for it, he had a contract.

Reardon failed an extended fitness test. Nowt to do with his contract - in fact the contract thankfully had a clause in it allowing us to get rid.

That thought crossed my mind too, particularly those of an attack-minded viewpoint. Here's another potential bonus; if Agar can get over whatever his beef with Hall is, he could perhaps shine a bit more in the right centre spot with the improved supply.

I don't think Agar has a beef with Hall. I think Hall needed time to recover his confidence after playing so poorly when he helped us out at Full back. I'm hoping we'll see him again soon at centre.

Motto of the week -

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.
