Can't see it tbh, Smith has been linked with Union and only the lure of big money would take him away from Leeds, I very much doubt he would leave Leeds for another SL club as he is a Leeds lad.

Depends whether he feels guaranteed first team football at Leeds.
Probably a load of tosh anyway. Most of our signings never make to the rumour stage, they just appear out of the blue.

He is. If/When Webb returns then Smith will play centre.

Problem is he does the same job as Horne does so playing him and Horne together would leave us wihout the SH we need and have in Thorman.

Could Horne play looseforward? Most stand offs tend to play as locks as well, Sculthorpe, Cooke, Murrell, Sinfield, Bird, to name a few, but I don't think I've ever thought of Horne as a looseman.
