I’m not sure they can though, especially as they’ve not really got a ton of top youth.

Good for rovers thought to have some excitement. I don’t care how good they are as long as we’ll recruit well and aim to compete ourselves

Blimey, the way some are bigging Hiku up, I thought they’d signed Latrell.

Anyway, recruitment at FC doesn’t worry me , because we’ve now got something we haven’t had in years and years. A very good rugby coach with a plan and a process. One who gets players to want to play for him.

Allied to the improvement in the Academy, now with a clear pathway, I’m relaxed about who stays and goes.

He’s coming as a full back mate, irrelevant how good he is as a centre hence why the signings not as good as people are making out.

And as for walks into most NRL teams, not a chance.

Hiku will play full back with Gilart, C Hall and Opacic going for the two centre spots. That’s some healthy quality both in starting and back up centres, it’s inevitable that we’ll get injuries there at some point. Peters will sign a winger for the right hand side, im not sure who though.

We’ve got Jez to replace Parcell, so that’s sorted already. The hardest one to replace will be Ryan Hall, who’s practically impossible to replace. Linnett is quality but think easier to replace than hall.

Rovers youth is a concern, we really do need to do better in that department, but hopefully better facilities will help that in the coming years. We’ve still got a relatively young core of players in practically every position though now. Corey Hall, Lewis, Litten. AJ Wallace looks good for his age. Abdull, King, Batchelor, Storton, Luckley, Minchella have all got a long way to go in terms of playing. If we sign Dupree that will be another top quality youngster in our ranks.

It is pretty boring over in the west of hull at the minute, you’re right. Largely down to the big shift in pulling power and cash, you might get rejected by more players than you end up signing for next year.

Funny how this new Rovers troll starts posting right as Billy has gone into hiding. Honestly wouldn't surprise me if it's Keith on a 3rd account.
Close to stopping using this forum. Pathetic Rovers fans repeatedly commeting on every thread 24/7 has just grown tiring. Even while having them all on ignore list.
