Salford tied down all there major assets quickly to help them get fees. Hope it works out for them.

Don’t think it will work out for them. They are not covering their running costs and the fan ownership scheme will only help in the short term. They have raised £150,000 so far and that is peanuts. Annual salary of two reasonable players. Other clubs will be well aware of the situation and can just wait until the financial situation gets worse. Salford are in a poor negotiating position which will only get worse.

A bit cheeky, they don't play him, haven't developed him and like most of there players, just took him from another club. No issue with them asking a fee, but that fee is way over the top.

Will start high, probably get him for 30k, particularly if he wants to leave.

We took him on, played him for a year, he was highly rated last year but can't get in the team this year. Given him a 2 year contract he was happy with and now he's got some competition for places he wants out. Bottom line is he's not as good as Linnet or Batchelor. We'll hold out for a fee we see fit if not he stays on as back up, can't see any 'cheek' in that
