How young and exciting is that potential spine though?

Plenty of scope for improvement.
A 9 would be the cherry on the cake.

Plenty of creativity when you throw in Lovodua and potentially Sutcliffe too

Would you replace Houghton mw?

Does he have a good attitude and what's his defence like, obviously has pace and creativity.

Liking were improving the creativity and pace in the spine with Hoy and Trueman aiding Connor as well as Lovodua hopefully getting the full time hooking gig.

Quite and exciting 4some.

Would like to see a proper loose forward signed, and a second row with presence.

Agree, I'd like us to use the last quota place to sign a Fitzgibbon type of player. A leader.

I think its time, I wouldn't mind him as a squad player on the right terms, but next season he shouldn't be guaranteed a starting spot and should not be playing 80 minutes.

It's a difficult one. He may have made the decision to pack it in himself already.

I listened to RH tonight and a fan mentioned Houghton's name. Cooke said remember tackle 52!! That was 6 years ago and he has had many more miles on the clock since then. Too many.

There are a one or two others who look like they are on the decline as well. Do we try to replace them?

I think a lot depends on how we finish the season. If the rot continues and we are on the end of some more humiliating defeats then more changes are needed. The coach being one of them.

We are getting a few players back so there are no excuses for any more capitulations.

He's extended by all accounts, if he had I hope it's as a squad player. If it was up to me id prefer to us the cap to sign a 9.

Denive and Hookem may be seen as too young for a 25 plus round season which I totally get.

Lovodua to me is seen as our Mr Fix It. I'd love to see him get a run at 9 though

Another option at 9? He's solid in defence is Benny. Not the quickest for a half, a move to 9 might be the way forward

Not too worried where they will all play, what I'm pretty confident about is a spine of Hoy, Connor and Truman is better than a spine of Connor, Reynolds and Gale.

You'd think it would be night and day

Adding to that is I've always been cautious about sacking the coach and writing off players too quickly.

I stuck by Radford when many on here quite rightly said he should have been replaced 2 years before. If we continue to decline this season then major surgery is needed. Pearson has invested heavily in this club and he and the fans deserve more.
