It's not Agar that is the issue, we know he's unfortunately not good enough, it's the board who constantly employ him who are to blame.

If Agar does resign or gets the sack, maybe he can help us out at Wigan in an advisory role. I'm sure he could help improve our defensive techniques!

Is there seriously a single FC left on here who still wants to see Agar in charge of our great club ?

He has had long enough now (infact too long) to show what he has as a coach and we all now know that it isn't much at all. He has had three very long seasons to show us "his team", the brand of rugby that it can play and, ultimately, what it can achieve at the highest level.

He has consistently failed on every level over three seasons and should just leave us now as a failure even though he must know that James "Tony Blair" Rule will have him here for life !!

Go now Agar ! You are ruining our great club !!!

I don't think any of us want/wanted him to coach us, but some were willing to give him atleast a chance this season as we're not all complete one-eyes.

I was one of those willing to give the guy a chance, I said I'd judge him after six games and see if there were any solid signs of improvement. Wigan and Crusaders were better, but still way below the standard a club like this should expect.

Enough is enough. Time for the guy to go with it still being early enough for a new coach to salvage something this season, and more importantly, be there to make the right decisions when transfer renewals and new signings take place in the coming months.

Reaction from Agar,

http://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague ... ml&BID=480

After hearing Rule's comments last week, if Agar's position was under scrutiny,
it was an emphatic NO!!

Judging by this board's past appointments,a proven experienced successful Head Coach,
is light years away.

Because I do not think Richard Agar is the problem.

Because a pattern is there of hiring coaches and firing/leaving.

Because no top coach will ever come to Hull FC until there is a change.

Because we are need to alter the culture at the club from the top down.

The cancer at the club Bomber went on about was players was it ?

The thread Title has the wrong name on it, but it will come as sure as night follows day

I agree with your general stance on the board but to say Agar isn't the problem is nonsense. He may not be the entire problem but he is terrible at his job. Therefore it would benefit us to replace him, even if it wouldn't cure all of our problems.

Sorry yer I forgot to mention Paul M is in Leeds preparing for the clash with Saints tomorrow, and Wolfie was last seen driving the fun bus down to Beachy Head :)

Wolfie was there tonight and he said it was the worst he had felt after a game in his whole life. Another who is not a happy bunny, not quite on the Agar out bandwagon but definitely not all smiles at the moment.

Re: Agar Out! : Fri Mar 18, 2011 11:09 pm
IMO Peter Sharp got the boot for far less than what Agar has done. One bad season for Sharp against 3 bad seasons for Agar. No one wants to see anyone lose a job but only points, 8 points off the pace and looking like there is plenty more defeats left in Hull yet. I thought the predictions for Hull positions this year by the papers was being unfair, but now they seem optimistic!

'In your opinion'? It's indisputable fact mate.
Same goes for Kear.
