John Davidson now reporting on Tindall
Exclusive: Hull FC have entered the battle to land the signature of a young outside back for next season.
rugbyleague.com Long Reads understands the Black & Whites are admirers of Leeds Rhinos winger or fullback Liam Tindall.
A Leeds academy product, Tindall is off-contract at the end of this year.
The Rhinos are reportedly keen to retain the homegrown talent, with head coach Rohan Smith telling reporters last week: "Sam and Liam are guys we’d like to keep and we are working through that process to keep them... Those guys will hopefully will be part of that process moving forward.”
But Leeds face a fight on their hands with Hull FC interested in the 21-year-old.
The outside back debuted for the Rhinos in 2020 and has spent part of the past two seasons on loan at Bradford.
This year Tindall has made two appearances for Leeds but has yet to score a try.
The flyer represented England Knights last year.
