Agree with you.
Kenny-Dowell signing means we have one less quota place to bolster the pack. Trout going to Leigh limits our options further.
A couple of good wins doesn't hide the fact that a massive overhaul of the squad is needed.
There's plenty of time to address this before next season.

Agree to most of this.
Listening to TS in the interviews when asked about the recruitment and interest in players I think he sounds like a Coach that has a plan and know the areas that need addressing and which are the priorities. In regards to interest in players most coaches at this point of silly season would admit to looking at all players that are on the market so no shocks there.
The club and TS have alluded since day one about the need to bring the age of the squad down so I’d doubt SKD will be a real target and TS comments more being respectful to him as a player.
As for Trout, unfortunately we will always be at a disadvantage as club due to geography. Trout could earn say the same amount with Leigh as with us but wouldn’t need to uproot from his home and the commute would be half therefore a more attractive option depending on personal preference.
To be honest Gildart for me is very much in the meh category as was surprised he got an opportunity in Aus.
It’ll take probably 2 off seasons at least to address all the issues but in all honesty think TS has shown already that he is improving the squad with letting Connor go. I’ll admit at times I’ve wondered what was going in but stepping back and looking at things you can see the changes in a relatively short time and with little options for squad changes.
A lot is being made about Rovers and where they are now but most of the ground work was laid by TS of which Peters is benefiting from the hitch he has alluded to himself. Many Leeds fans also attributed the success that McDermot had at Leeds as being down to TS and the foundations he’d set there before leaving for Warrington.
We just need to trust in TS which admittedly is not always so easy to have the patience due to the previous 4-5 seasons.
