Its a double edged sword. The RFL are trying to protect the players with this zero contact to the head initiative, however, the number of players being binned or sent off means the players remaining on the pitch are having to work harder, become fatigued quicker which leads to lazy defensive efforts, potentially more high tackles, as well as putting them at higher risk of other injuries
