Got to say if Houghton plays on Sunday I’ll be disappointed as he was awful and needs dropping. In his defence I’ll admit that being expected to do 80mins week in week our doesn’t help him.
Again just no accountability in certain quarters, as we have Lovodua and Balmforth who can play at 9.

I wonder if the thinking is that with Gale and McNamara back then Lovudua fills the roll that Balmforth would, namely interchange hooker.
Not that we interchange Houghton very often but you see what I'm driving at.

I get what you're driving at but I think we all know if Houghton starts then he is likely to play the 80 based on all the evidence we've seen during BH tenure as Coach which is just crazy. With Gale and McNamara being back and the loans brought in it was an opportunity to start Lovodua at 9 with Balmforth on the bench. Our line speed and ptb is so slow and distribution is terrible and a change at 9 for 2 players that are more dynamic would certainly help improve this area. Houghton has been a great servant but after 20-25 mins he is sadly just not effective on the field anymore be it in attack or defence. Like I say I don't think BH has helped matters by flogging him week in week out but he just doesn't look to have the desire anymore.

Bringing back McNamara straight into the first team after 3 months out with a serious back injury is a bit risky.
Why Hodgson didnt give him half a game tonight for me is another mistake.
If he breaks down again at Magic then once again we have the player merry go round

We ain't the only ones making moves. Senior from Huddersfield will be playing for Rovers on Sunday. I think Louis but not 100%

Thought I was on the ball with this one but just seen its actually already been confirmed. Louis Senior signed for them on a permanent deal.
