Think this is a great signing. There is too much at stake to go with someone untried at this level. Hopefully he will bring the professionalism needed to get the players playing to their potential.

I wasn't sure there'd be anyone above Kear for me but Smith is a very good choice.
I hope he's ready for the challenge, but I'm feeling a lot more hopeful for the rest of season.

I think he has the experience, calibre and presence to make the difficult choices needed.

Hopefully a good signing for you guys. He certainly has a good track record, the connections to hopefully strengthen your squad and presumably via TS a reasonably good understanding of SL. Hope it works out.
