Steve Mac has added Rangi Chase to the England train-on squad, he qualifies on residency ground apparently. Does this mean that Cas can take him off their Quota now?

I'm not sure but i dont think it will make a difference as we have 2 open quota spots and will probably sticking to the rfl guideline of 5 again.
Hmmmm, other nations do it (Aussies are bad for it) but I think we should take the high ground and select only English lads, even though Chase is head and shoulders better than what we've got.
Pathetic. He's played twice against England in the last 12 months. Strange how all of a sudden he wants to play for England now he may have Visa issues. Wasn't the case just 3 months ago.

This is a joke - a kick in the teeth for the English lads who are in contention, based on a cynical attempt by Chase's legal team to strengthen his visa application.
International RL becomes more irrelevant as each year passes.

I know what you mean, but to be fair to him, he's probably spent more time in England than the Cas lad who went to Aus at the age of 2.
Macnamara is turning England into a joke with all these decisions. Someone needs to tell him he ain't at Bradford anymore and the quota only applies to SL teams not international ones.

Hopefully, I'll end up playing. This game could help me play for New Zealand. That's my goal to wear the black and white of my country.
"It's a dream of mine since I was a little kid. If I play well [in Leeds] I might get a crack."
"But now that that looks unlikely it has become my dream to play for England"
Absolutely shocking decision from Fatnamara
