Funny when its a friday game following a sunday match how quickly it comes around to squad announcing time



do we think there will be any change to last weeks squad ? and if not given that trandsfer talks have stalled do we think danny brough will play ?

Not sure I would change a great deal really as I think all 17 went really well. JK seems to think so too.

Perhaps with Cooke starting this time. Although many points were racked up in the first half i thought it was through power rather than craft which got Trinity over the line. Quite often there was a bit of indecision in key areas when attacking, luckily due to the opposition the chance was not lost, a luxury that will not be present on Friday.

I'd personally swap Latu and Davey, and kirmonds only just come back from knee injury 1 reserve game may not be fit enough yet so possibly leave hendo there, wouldnt be too fussed either way.

If Kirmond is available I wouldn't pick him above Hendo. That would be a kick in the teeth after a strong display against a big pack on Sunday. Other than that would go along with Slugger and introduce Latu from the bench.

If I follow that correctly Kirmond and Morton to miss out. I agree.

Much as I like Morton, we shouldn't be dropping Gleeson yet.

Much as I've supported Gleeson since he came to us I think we should, he seems to be struggling both in attack and defence this season and I would have put Murphy in at centre and Morton on the wing I don't think he's done much wrong but seems to be the fall guy for incompetent inside defence, think Gleeson needs a rest and time to have a think about his game.

I think it`s probably too early for Cooke to play 80 minutes, it`s a fair bet that JK will do the same as last week with JD starting at 6 and Cooke on the bench. Morton & Kirmond to miss out for me.

JD was named at 6 last week but actually the game was played with Morrison at SO and JD was a running LF

Well spotted, but not ALL game it wasn't

FWIW I thinkhe will start with Cooke at 6, and as stated can always slot Tesco or JD in if Cooke can't last 80 mins. Think Hendo/Fergy/JD/Tesco would be very dissapointed to loose a spot to Kirkmond after their collective displays last week.
