Praise indeed. I hope we set her sights higher than just somebody who didn't get us relegated.

I think Powell is the type of manager that can build over a period of time and I think that's what we need. Not an overnight short term success, long improvement plan that takes us higher than we have been and stable enough to stay there.

I think were all guilty at some point of stating as to who we'd like to see pulling on the red, white and blue, some of us keep our expectations realistic.

That said, he has stated previously that he wants to spend the full cap and bring in marquee players, it would be nice to see an improvement in the calibre of the squad in time to come.

The usual lot who got on the old owners back will soon stick the knife in and twist if it starts to falter no doubt. It will be hard for some of them to break the negativity and habits of sniping at owners these past months. I hope they do for the new owners sake.

I will remain positive and I’m looking forward to seeing what announcements come out this week hopefully. So far it’s your a promising statement. I’m looking forward to the actions that back it and I’m hopeful he will deliver.

Don’t worry I only posted because I knew of the fans frustration. But it’s a new era now!
Matt’s a top bloke and will give trinity his all. There were 2 main obstacles that made this process
difficult but I’m sure that and the true handover financial shape of the club will all come out at some point.

Sure he was the analysis & stats guy at both Warrington and Cas. He’s the big lad who was always pictured sat next to Powell when the camera panned on the coaching box. This sounds like a promotion for him.
