Hmm - I don't like being stitched up by the Sheffield Eagles mafia.

For me, JK shouldn't be 'openly saying' that he'd have anyone - he's ooc at the end of the season and doesn't really have any right to be making promises to his old muckers.

I decided ages ago, he knows very little about RL players.

If Senior still has it why did Leeds let him go. I'd have Senior in our team as I don't bin players until I have seen them play in our team, especially with our reputation for turning players around. However the money I'd be willing to pay Senior may be a little less than he's willing to take.

From somebody who thinks Blaymire is the man do me a favour. Senior still looked good this season up until his injury still a damm sight better than that Delany they have. He will do well for us. You also though Paul Johnson the past it wire player would be good for us and he was garbage aswell. Dont let me bring Peter Fox up again Vasty. Stop having a dig ! No need

I wish I could go back to when I first joined the forum, I once started a thread should we make an offer for Keef Senior as I thought at that time he could of helped in the second row and got blistered for it big style, now we seem to be thinking he's the best think since sliced bread and will help the younger end

he's 35 past his time, got a knee injury that he's struggling in rehad and say's he has an infection (his words) and we are looking at him

I just don't get it

all I see is he wants a club to sign him up so he can top up his pension fund

if he aint good enough for leeds why is he good enough for us

didn't we learned with Cooke or have we to throw money away again on another crock

 please let him go else where

Thats exactly how we should now be thinking, it won't be easy but we need to build UPWARDS.

Yeah, he didn't excactly advertise himself well there, did he? I'm with you - a pension-funder, and no thanks. Save the money for 2 Seniors and bring in someone good... someone really, really good. Someone really really good now, not 5 years ago. Someone who could do a bit of stuff on the field that the fans would like to see. It's supposed to be entertainment.

JK ought to be forbidden from talking to any of his old chums until his own situation has been resolved, and given that Senior is struggling with his recovery, it seems unlikely that he'll have much to offer next season.

I'm with BigAl - we should be aiming higher and talking to players who are quality now, not only players who were quality for JK at some time in the last 10 years.

Re: Keith Senior : Wed Jul 27, 2011 11:20 pm
He signed a contract which was valid for both SL and the Championship, had Crusaders lost their franchise he would have been contractually obligated to play for them in the lower division.

The confusion has been caused by Crusaders voluntarily withdrawing from the Super League which probably wasn't covered in the contract and therefore it's not clear if it's still enforceable or nullified.
