Well clearly all signings are made with the best intentions! But you have to have accountability in all aspects of life. As re. Applegarth, i'm sure lots of people on minimum wage just trying to survive would gladly swap with him on his salary, for being involved in a sport he loves, it would be an unobtainable dream for most to be either a player or coach in professional sport. If it's too much he is allowed to walk away and give someone else a go? We are now on a hiding to nothing, it's obviously very long odds that we will get out of this now, and you are right going on and repeating the same stuff about they shouldn't have signed Proctor etc is pointless.....but, he and Atoni don't have to be selected by the coach? He was quick to ditch Lineham after 2 games, and he hasn't been seen since. I don't know whether 17 games left is a good or bad thing?! We simply have to beat Hull, then win ALL of those home games in June at least, and that is a massive longshot, but I suppose human nature is still telling me we have a teeny weeny chance of getting out of this.....

Lots of people on minimum wage would swap with you for your job too. Not sure what your point is there.

All I'm saying is he cares about it, not that he isn't capable (though that's a different conversation given thecresults)

Well you were saying he was stressed and he's aged etc, probably the majority of working people are stressed because of the economic climate right now. But the majority of those I wager aren't doing a job they love, he's in a privileged position, so was your point we should feel sorry for him? If it was, I wouldn't feel any more sympathy for him, than for anyone else who feels they are 'stressed' at work?! That was my point :D

No my point was, in answer to those saying the board and coach and some players don't care.
I say they do, but just not achieving the results we or they want.

Looking like it at the moment but a long way to go and other clubs could be sucked back into the fight.

Hull showed what is possible when you play as a team with structure. They may have better players than us but it shows what can be achieved unfortunately we are currently a long way short of even being a structured team. We would probably still lose because of the quality of our squad but at least it would make a change from the usual disorganised capitulation we have nearly every game.

Wigan really blew it in that last 10 minutes with some shoddy handling.
How crucial was that professional foul from Trueman? Yellow card versus saving the game.

Seen a few bloody knees in the Catalan v Saints game so far. Seriously questions need to be asked whether the pitch is suitable or not.

Went to Headingley last night to watch grandson play at half time for Stanley Rangers.
A few observations
Nightmare to get there.
Hate whinos but love the ground
Watching the game as a neutral, found it fascinating how home supporters see the game (blinkered). Are we all the same ?
Leeds where dire, their first try blatant forward pass and possible obstruction.
Salford are a good side and take some beating.
Left as soon as we could.

Oh! and grandson got a hat trick in 10 minutes, that's 19 so far this season.
Even if I say so myself he is looking very promising, and a big Trin fan.
