That would be the same Ted Richardson who found the site, got Yorkcourt and the Council on board is it. It's sickening enough to hear no nothing clots like you destroy a mans reputations for the mistakes he did make. It's way beyond the pale to attack him for the one thing it is universally accepted by any fair minded and knowledgeable fan that he got right - Newmarket = Ted Richardson like it or not.

For all his faults I think I prefer Richard Wright to know nothing gob offs like you.

What made you judge jury and executioner?

Ted struggled with this club for years in very trying conditions. Sure, he got many things wrong and I disagreed with him often, but most of us who went to his meetings came away pacified each time.

Love him or hate him, he did put this together, and if this is the only thing he got right (which it certainly isn't), then it is enough that we should at least offer some gratitude for. No Ted = No Newmarket!

You are the only blind fool around here.

Ted was responsible for alot of things that were bad at this club but he was also responsible for the chance that we might have a future.

You accuse Vasty of bias but can't see that you are worse. Most of us can see both sides, the positives and the negatives. You refuse to accept that there were some good things done.

Im certainly no Ted lover.

However, without his "tenacity" Wakefield would never have been allowed in Super League in the first place.

If Ted sorted out NM good on him, I have seen no proof to prove or disprove it, but i am minded to believe he did.
Its a shame he was so disastrous in other areas, and he will not get the chance to bask in his glory (other than personal reflection), but thats been done to death.
NGB4C is a clot and by answering his ramblings you are only fueling his madness, ignore him and he will disappear or enter the real world.
The ONLY thing that matters and that even includes the RW debate to an extent is for us all to remain together and hope for a good result at the end of this.
Let them that can, sort it out, and use what ammunition has been launched at us, to our benefit and those with all the facts and skills to convince the PI that NM is our future.
At this moment in time NOTHING else matters, including idiots like NGB4C and RW et al.

Am another on the side of Ted in this one. He was the driving force behind Newmarket .

Its a shame we even have to bring Ted's name up now but ironically NGB4C seems to have focussed us back on the good things he did.
Unfortunately for him he will be remembered for the collapse at the end of his tenure but he clearly did good things before then.

However it turned out for him, I do know he wanted the best for Wakefield Trinity. He has paid the price for his mistake by losing his job and a lot of credibility. Lets leave it there. We are now in a new age, why look back?
