Well considering most/all of the articles have said they will pass on the money once outline planning permission is given, which is a lot easier than you Wakefield fans like to make out it is.

Like I said though, even if they had to move out of Cas for a year or 2, it would be the Keepmoat in all likeliness.

If one of the other Opus tarfets comes off first, there won't be a WR retail development. At all. And no GH.

That's true!

"Cas are on with GH and NM isn't looking like happening."

So why spout it??

From a neutral point of view if its a choice of ground sharing or losing your super league status (which you will do if you dont deliver on the promises the club has made) then surely its a no brainer ?????

This thread is a bit silly but it does have merit, if only to get Gronk spluttering out more of his awesome FACTS!

Personally I wouldn't mind sharing, on the proviso that following each Cas game, some kind of antibacterial wipe was provided at each seat, just to be on the safe side.

Then why have you totally made up this then?

When well...it is as Nottinghamtiger pointed out.

As it is though, if they had to play in another stadium Cas would likely go to the Keepmoat.

Heaven forbid I may have made something up, it's a hypothetical scenario for gods sake!!!! Unlike you with your facts, you still owe me £25 quid by the way!!!!
Why play in Doncaster when you can play at NM, would less people go to NM than trail to Doncaster, just to save face? (hypothetically, of course!!!)

It's the same no brainer as it was when the idea was first mooted a couple of seasons ago. Just a shame it took so long for the penny to drop.

And I suspect that the owners will be delighted with the revenue that another tenant will bring in. Any bets on it being called simply Newmarket, with nary a mention in the title of either Wakey or Cas?

Once a Sandal Wild Cat always a Sandal Wild Cat.

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Bring back the British Coal shirts for 2012

Come home Steve Georgallis & Nigel Wright

As far as I'm aware "Newmarket" is the project name, the stadium naming rights will be sold off once building has started, if there's not already an existing agreement in place between Yorkcourt (the developers) and another company.

I would go as far as to say I'm almost 99% sure the stadium name WON'T contain the words "Trinity" or "Wildcats", it's not ours for one and there's the revenue we can raise from the naming, so as I said I doubt it will be in keeping with our clubs name/ any of our nicknames.

Personally I couldn't care less, I'm just dying for them to get the PI done and start building.

As a Sandal resident I've become accustomed living close to the ground. Might have to look at a move to Bottomboat/Stanley, ruffle a few feathers with the locals!
