I've voted wakey but would like to see both of us get one, I just can't see Cas how cas are going to start it if they can only do half of it, good luck to them as they seem confident that they can go it alone as like we do

After seeing the latest statutary response on the planning site regarding newmarket, Im going for cas as it would seem thier are more questions than answers with regards the nemarket application.

The problem is there was a deadline originally set for responses and half the ones that have come in were after the deadline had passed. As far as I am concerned any responses received after the original deadline should be invalid

There is no doubt in mind that we will get one first, the problem I have is that I just cannot believe that Mr Box will let us have one in time for the next franchise and Cas missing out through lack of funds. At the end of the day Councillor Box is an ex shareholder in the club he is also a Cas fan and more importantly he is a full time councillor for a constituency in Cas. If we got a new ground and a franchise to go with it and Cas got sweet fa I dont think that Coucillor Box's political career would blossom on the other side of Heath Common, and if you add to that all the back tracking he has done with his false promises in the past I think the only way we will get one in time for the next franchise is if Cas get one as well.

None... Time is ticking and nothing is happening apart from words appearing on websites, in newspapers and during half time speeches.

A bit unfair; it's a safe bet that a huge amount of work is going on behind closed doors. WTW may not be the most dynamic organisation, but you can bet your backside that outfits like Yorkcourt don't sit on their hands whilst a multi-million pound development hangs in the balance.

I do take the point though - we'll all feel better when the diggers move in.

Mate, you are totally deluded if you think that anything will actually be built at newmarket, there is no way it will ever get through planning....i cannot see how anybody thinks it could... there is more chance of a Mcdonalds being built on Mars.......Slim as just left town!!
