My least favourite Salford moment is at the Willows in 2002, when we were winning 22-12 with 5 minutes to go and managed to draw 22-22!

I seem to remember Salford keeping the ball alive on the last tackle for about 2 minutes before scoring the try to draw level!

I left that game thinking relegation was on it's way!

That game was also his debut. What a match to make your debut in and at 17 years old too.

My memories from that game, aside from surviving relegation, was the actions of good old Bobbie Goulding. Gave me the best laugh I’ve ever had at a match. The two fingered salute, the disallowed interception try, getting sin binned (for throwing the ball away?) then getting into a fight with Justin Brooker on his way to the bench and then getting sent off.

still without doubt one of my favourite games ever, had it all, the result the crying with laughter at goulding and the end of that totally weird and frustrating season, which strangly i dont think we have ever fully recovered from.

I shook Brooker's hand that night [in Mustangs, I cringe to admit] as a thank you for his work on the nutjack. Was also told he got the better of the afters in the tunnel. The game was a classic of Harbin's 'battle 'em and battle 'em some more' approach to coaching.

you did well after surviving relegation i would not have been capable of saying the words that night!

oooh just thought of one henry paul making his debut, wasnt that against salford?
16 all and he did it al himself? or was that oldham?
