Dufty was too fast for most of the players in Australia ,Great signing by Wires ,Think that is the main problem at Wakefield no speed , the slowest team we have had at Wakefield for years

And we scored more tries against Catalan than anyone else apart from Leeds when they did their big comeback.

Are you on about the one where Dudson ends up punching him? Because that one yeah he was stumbling and swerving etc. The other interception he seemed in open space, but like I said Dufty seemed to appear from nowhere......

To be fair, the Jowitt try was a nice one, but the others' were just barge over ones from close range? I agree we have missed Jowitt, and a fully fit and firing Tanginoa. But I agree with other posters, we are too slow all over the field, both in legs and mentally. Seriously, even if we'd have had Murphy on one wing and Addo-carr on the other, they'd have been lucky to have a couple of tries between them the way we have played!!

I understand your point but so many times we got the ball to the wing only for Taufua, Kershaw or Lineham to stop and then come inside. Partly a lack of speed but partly confidence too.

Well that’s true PT but can you remember the last time our wingers were put into space because I’m struggling to!

Kershaw has some sort of allergic reaction to space, causing him to swerve violently across the pitch.

Against Catalans Gaskell's try was not a barge over . It began with Lino drawing the defence and Gaskell finishing off from around 20 m out , beating certainly a couple of defenders. Some only see what they want to see.
