I must have watched a different game, he may have done alright for Widnes in his few carries but that's it. Hardly the most dominant and influential forward on the pitch BY FAR, talk about hyperbole. Bain and Atoni both had better games.
Walker came on around 25 minutes in and had 5 carries in that first half, one of which he threw away in the tackle. Then in the second half, he had just 2 carries in 10 minutes, with a decent little run. Then Atoni ran over the top of him to score and was taken off not long after. He came back on with 5 to go and had 1 carry. He wasn't even Widnes best forward, I thought Kirk had a better all-round game and got through far more work.
As for body shaming, give over, it was just an observation since I hadn't seen him for quite some time. Were the Widnes fans fat-shaming him when they were chanting, 'fatty walker, he eats what he wants, he eats what he wants'?
