The current squad is not good enough to compete in the super league it has got nothing to do with the coach, you could put wayne Bennett at the helm and it would not change.

The squad is incapable of competing at this level and there is no money to improve it i know you guys are die hards and good for you but some of us go to the rugby to be entertained not to watch championship players getting schooled week in week out.

Dont forget what this shower did to james webster it appears brians experience has enabled him to get out why would he waste his time hes 61 no group of men/players especially in a tough game like ours would allow what went on last season its humiliating unless THEY JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

You only have to look at Tom Johnstone the lad oozes class 19 and head and shoulders above any of the other backs, we have suffered mediocrity for too long at this club that its become acceptable i use Reece Lynne as he is the same position as Tom, the lad is nowhere near good enough he has improved yes good for him we have got to a stage where we take solace that a player that is not upto it has improved.

Reece is not the only one and you cant blame them there not going to say no im not good enough to compete in super league the results without question prove that.

Come and watch Fev if you're fed up with being battered every week.



Seriously though, you'll be more than welcome and you'll see some cracking rugby in a half decent stadium. Ale and pies are cheaper too.

I'd enjoy watching Fev, it's having the tetanus jabs I'm worried about.

Going into the championship at least means you can see your team winning games again. There are some great grounds to visit and there’s a warm welcome. However that’s only going to last for a short period.



The problem is that if you don’t bounce back within a couple of years you’ll be stuck there as it’s nigh on impossible to compete with SL teams in the playoffs.

Much as I enjoyed our last trip to the lower level (Div 2 at the time), I enjoyed promotion more and want to see us compete with the big boys as much as we can.
