The point is, when are you being "official" and when are you being "personal"? For instance, when asked if the club could change the Good Friday afternoon fixture to evening you said:

Bradford City are a 7:45 KO on Good Friday. Won't be happening."
If someone thought that was a direct statement from a club director they might read it as curt, arrogant, condescending and showing little care for fans opinions, especially when the fans concern was loss of revenue. We do need money, don't we?

I didn't suggest any such thing, how you respond to criticism is up to you.
I still think that prefixing an official club statement with, "official club statement", would save confusion and stop any unjustified personal criticism.
